Thursty Thursday

Yeah!!! it's once again Thursty Thursdays and im sure you all are anxious to find out what Deej has in store for you all.

Today's "Thursty Thursday" drink happens to be my most favorite spondiferously divine drink ever. Simple yet classic, I'm talking about that good ol' Baileys Irish cream and Milk. It doesnt take a rocket scientist or a bartender to make this drink.
What you'll need for this masterpeice:
3 shots of Baileys Irish Cream
Milk
Ice
Directions:
I've always heard from bartenders that for every shot of alcohol you use, you are to put 2 shots of whatever you are adding to dilute it. But uhmmm, that DOES NOT reflect Deej's opinions, i say do whatever you gotta' do to get tipsy the quickest (smile). Anywho, So I MIX 3 shots of baileys and equal shots of milk. That works for me, but you all can tweek this to your liking.
Well i hope that you all enjoy this treat. Remember stay safe, but get tipsy. Luv ya'll

Talk about Smokey Food!!

While i was in Atlanta, i had the privilege of dining at yet another fine establishment, "The Highlander", Check them out at http://www.thehighlanderatlanta.com. This is also a great place to dine, they are opened most days until 3 am. With a wide variety of entrees and sides im sure that there is something for everyone, that is if you can get over the cloud of smoke that is accompanies your every move in this establishment. The environment is more for the over 21 crowd, i mean after all you can't go wrong with this place since it was featured on the, The Travel channel or Food Network, i forget which one i saw it on, and now its featured on I PITY THA FOOD, and yall know Deejay know's good food (smile) but anywho. When you go I suggest that you order the Bratwurst Melt...OMGeesh A-M-Azing and get a side of fettuccine alfredo (thats what i had), trust me you won't be disappointed, that is if you can get over the cigarette smoke. HAPPY DININGS ;)

Sunday's Words of encouragement

Well to be honest it's not really a word of encouragement, its more so just a phrase to remember, to remind you that life is a wonderful adventure so enjoy it because it can take you to magical highs or treacherous lows. I more so like the phrase because it deals with food. (smile)

"LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATE, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'RE GONNA GET."

What you'll need:

Your Favorite Vodka
1 bag of Jolly Ranchers
Ice
Blender

Since my friends and I have never measured these ingredients we can not tell you exact measurements, we encourage you to just go by your own taste or whatever gets you toasted quicker.

Directions:

In a blender mix Your favorite Vodka, approx. 9 Jolly Ranchers (use more if you would like), and Ice. Blend these ingredients until you get a nice consistency, it should look similar to a slushy or an Icee that you would get out of the 711.
I hope that everyone enjoys this drink as much as I do and remember to tweek this recipe to your liking, have fun with it, drink responsibly but still get toasted!!!

I pity those cupcakes

So while im down here in Atlanta i have had the pleasure of tasting the most A-M-AZING cupcakes ever. "The Atlanta Cupcake factory" is what im talking about, when i tell ya'll that those were the most moist cupcakes i've ever tasted...oh SHEESH WEESH LOUISE!!...it just makes my mouth water all over again. Made fresh everyday, and a wide variety of flavors (I had Bailey's flavored...lol.) I urge everyone to visit them if you have just the slightest sweet tooth and you are ever in Atlanta. You will not be dissappointed.

One Mark for Landmark

Okay as you all know i am still down here living life in the great city of Atlanta. While im down here im eating at every restaurant i see. I recently had the opportunity and pleasure of eating at the "Landmark diner", this food is great. With most of these locations open 24/7 you are sure to get great tasting food at any time of the of the morning, noon, and nite. Its especially great when you are out for a night on the town and need a little grubage. Anyway just try it whenever you are in Atlanta.
